FAQs
What can I expect in therapy?
1
Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to understand your experiences, identify patterns, and develop new tools for growth and healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard—no judgment, just genuine connection and curiosity.
How do I get started?
2
Getting started is simple. You can reach out using the contact form, phone, or email and we can set up a consultation call. During a consultation call I will ask some questions about what is bringing you to therapy as well as answer any questions you may have.
How long are sessions?
3
Each session is approximately 50 minutes. The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and needs. Some clients come in for short-term support, while others prefer ongoing therapy for deeper, long-term growth. For couples, based on request, I can offer 75 or 90-minute sessions to accommodate for busy lifestyles for two partners by which coming in weekly isn't plausible.
Do you accept insurance?
4
I currently accept some insurance plans for individual therapy sessions. However, couples therapy is private pay only and not billable to insurance. I’m happy to provide a superbill for out-of-network clients who would like to seek reimbursement through their insurance provider. You are also welcome to use HSA or FSA benefits if they are offered by your employer. If you are paying the private pay rate, you will also be provided with a Good Faith Estimate.
My private pay rates are:
$165 per individual session
$185 per couple or family session
